Szombaton közel két órára lezárták az utat Izsa és Komárom között, ahol balesetet szenvedett egy magyar állampolgárságú motoros. A Joj TV tudósítása szerint a motoros valószínűleg az izsai rétesfesztiválról volt épp távozóban, amikor a Komárom felé vezető úton egy kanyarban megpróbált kielőzni egy személykocsit. A kanyar viszont nem igazán tudta bevenni, lesodródott az útról a túloldalon, majd az árokba zuhant a motorral. A 47 éves motoros eszméletét vesztette, mentőt riasztottak hozzá, az állapota miatt viszont mentőhelikoptert is küldtek a helyszínre. Alena Krčová, a mentőszolgálat szóvivője közölte, a motoros súlyos sérüléseket szenvedett. A mentősök másfél órán át próbálták stabilizálni az állapotát, mielőtt a mentőhelikopter el tudta szállítani. Viktória Borloková nyitrai kerületi rendőrszóvivő közölte, a súlyosan sérült motorostól vért vettek, hogy megállapítsák, fogyasztott-e alkoholt. A baleset egyéb körülményeit vizsgálják.
